closed captions

Closed Captions

use the same kinds of cues that _ascii_ text on
the Net allows.

My television shows me text in different colours
for emphasis,
_italics_

Location

of words at different

spots

is also used by captions.

I don't think I have seen different font families or

font sizes

.

While it could be argued that blogs are for content,
_surely_ form also
delivers a message.

Is there anywhere a grammar of closed captions (or the subtitles of
dvd's)?

One thing though other than

size

that a blog with even the lowest
powered browser can handle that closed captioning cannot is text available

at

two levels at once.
