Inventor of Personal Computer Dies

The Altair computer of 1975 is considered
the first personal computer.

It had about 4k, nearly the same as the 1981
Commodore vic-20. Control was by switches or paper tape.

Six years later the vic-20 used a keyboard and had
built in colour and sound and displayed on a
monitor.

It could be argued that except for speed and memory
size, computers have not improved much since.
