High Definition Paper Pictures

All my art books have relatively
low resolution pictures.
A very low power magnifying glass
will turn any picture into a pointilist creation

We do not have high definition paper pictures

My ink jet produces hagher definition pictures
than are available in my art books.

Do high definition print pictures exist?
or must we use electronic paper?
or is there no demand?

What are the limits?

What we can accomplish
as we age
is determined
not by diminished ability
but by reduced willingness to invest
time energy emotions

The trick may be to stimulate the above as
we age

Also to praise ourselves for daily achievements

Springsteen Continues Quality Sound

Typically if a dvd uses pcm, 16/48 (16 bits
48 times a second) is the format.

Springsteen's Working on a Dream dvd uses 24/48-half
again as large a sound bit
.

His Live in Dublin dvd uses the same format.

I have 24/48 music dvd's by

  • Sheryl Crowe
  • Springsteen
  • David Matthews
  • David Gilmour
  • James Taylor

My 24/96 dvd's with motion videoare limited
    to
  • Neil Young
  • Sarah K
  • Movie Se7en
  • Chuck Mangione

    Sent from Lynx

This is sent from the text e-mail Pine <i>Pine</i> which
lately has not worked for blogger.

One catch is that HTML cannot be coded in _Pine_ or
    <h1>This would be a heading</h1>

    And <s>This would be a strikeout</s>

    Flash drives in the 1980's

    My Commodore 64/128 has a 2 meg non-volatile
ram drive attached that I mainly use for downloaded text
files that I view offline. For this reason I find
it interesting that the newest laptops (Samsung etc.) are
either using flash memory instead of hard drives, or
supplementing the hd with flash. At a premium cost.

Certainly I find my REU (ram expansion unit) invaluable
as an alternative to my slower floppy drives.

My current problem is that I am down to o my last Commodore 64/128, and that I no longer have a
colour capable Commodore 80 column monitor.

If I did, I would return to using colour in
    my postings
