This allows me to record & play back a description of what occurs on screen.
The effect is that of a radio play & could be played back as such.
I do find that CSI is enhanced by this treatment.
There is probably one programme a night available over the 4 commercial networks.
The method appears to be to place the description plus dialogue on one channel of the stereo recording
which can then be sent to both speakers in mono. Stereo is also available though so perhaps
the linear stereo channel is used for the DVS/SAP.
In any event, my viewing/listening is enhanced by the process.
