Tipping Points

What is the point at which normal eating is overbalanced by exercise?
I am up to 5-6 times a week of one hour slow jogging.
On forest trails mainly.
I have read that 1000 calories= one mile & that 30 miles a week is the tipping point.

I many years ago typically ran 45 miles a week (marathon training).
no problem keeping the weight down.

I guess with change in base line, new lesson must be learned.

Variables I can control are:
  • speed
  • time
  • difficulty
